TYPE 2 DIABETES AND WEIGHT LOSS DRUG LAWSUITS

OZEMPIC®, WEGOVY®, RYBELSUS®, MOUNJARO™ OR SAXENDA® & OTHER GLP-1 RA CLASS DRUGS LAWSUITS

Case update: As of August 2023, Ozempic lawsuits were still in the early stages, and there have been no global settlements or jury trials.

The use of Ozempic® and other medications containing semaglutide may lead to gallbladder or biliary diseases. If you became ill after using these medications, you may be eligible for compensation from an Ozempic lawsuit.

What is Ozempic?

According to its manufacturer Novo Nordisk, Ozempic® is an injectable prescription medicine for adults with type 2 diabetes, which contains the active ingredient semaglutide. It is primarily used to reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems and treat type 2 diabetes in adults. Wegovy® injections, its sister drug, is used for weight loss, and also contains semaglutide, as does Rybelsus® tablets, which is used to help control insulin levels in patients with Type 2 diabetes. Other drugs under scrutiny are Saxenda® (liraglutide) prescribed for weight loss and Mounjaro™ an injectable prescription used for type 2 diabetes.
